HIGH SCHOOL: A GLOBAL CURRICULUM
Our high school curriculum is truly global: A mix of UK-Based Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, US-based Advanced Placement Exams, and certain India-specific subjects offered by the school. In addition to preparing for these exams, high school students continue to play a large part in running the school.
For 9th and 10th grades, students are enrolled into the IGCSE curriculum. Everyone sits for seven subjects: First Language English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Economics. In addition, we continue with some of our internal subjects: Bengali, Modern Indian History, and Films.
After IGCSEs, the students study four subjects for their GCE A Levels (11th and 12th Grade): English, Math, History and Economics.
In addition, throughout high school (9th -12th standard), students opt to study and sit for various Advanced Placement Exams: AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Physics C, AP Chemistry, AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition.
Some students who want to apply for the US universities sit for SAT and SAT Subject Tests (Math II, Chemistry, Literature).
